Re: [RC] Painting ponies! - Julie FullerAnd Carla's story reminds me of one from my kids' childhood.I had the vet out to remove a bunch of huge ugly warts from the ear of a gorgeous little Hackney stud pony I'd gotten. It took us a couple hours, and a lot of effort, during which time, my kids were out in the pasture playing. They were about 3 and 5 at this time. Anyway, the vet and I were standing in the yard with the woozy pony, stretching our backs and talking, when the vet got this really funny look on his face, then started laughing. I turned to see what was so funny, just in time to see my daughter, buck nekkid, stand up, apparently just having rolled in a huge mud puddle! She was covered in mud all the way to her tow-headed head. When I asked her why she rolled in the puddle, she replied, "The horses do it, Mama!" My daughter is now pregnant with her first.... I wonder what will happen that I can attribute to retribution? *grin* Julie =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
