RE: [RC] [RC] 100 miles barefoot - Terry BanisterI have done 50s barefoot and also with boots on the hind and bare front feet, but never with boots on the front only. I don't want my horse to travel heavy on the front end, and the hind feet need more traction.I have done two 100s with boots all around. I think that is the best idea, because if anything happened, such as stepping on a nail or whacking an unseen object, or the horse becomes lame for any other reason, you might be upset if it was preventable.
