With the trials run for
the Drinkers of the Wind Derby (G1) and Daughters of the Desert Oaks (G1),
the fields are set for the first legs of the 2006 Triple Crown. Will there
be another superstar like TH Richie, last year's Triple Crown victor? Only
time will tell.
Get ready to see who has a chance on January, 28,
2006. The Drinkers and Daughters will be televised live nationwide on TVG.
The second legs of the Triple Crown, the Texas Six Shooter and Texas
Yellow Rose, will be run at Sam Houston Race Track on Saturday, March 25.
Delaware Park is the site of the final races in the series, the Bob
Magness Derby and Cre Run Oaks run later this year.
