Can you give any details regarding the circumstances of the beatings? Is the trouble between different trail users? or criminals vs trail users?

Hi Folks: There has been some trouble with the supposed groups at the Sliger Mine Staging area near the river crossing. State parks and or the County should have a copy of the police report available. There were some beatings that have occurred.
