 It ain't a real test unless you use boots that were designed for work.  
Barrier boots are made for standing around in, not for  riding.  

 I have a gaited horse and am getting him used to Boa boots but so far have 
not ridden faster than a walk in them.   I'll try out his running walk and 
see if the boots change his way of going.
