Re: [RC] [RC] QUARTER HORSE PEOPLE - HELP! - steelsidedownI think part of the trouble explaining this is our mental picture of a modern TB. Most of the "historical" TBs have a very heavy QH build by todays standards. Here's a site with pictures AND info -- you'll need the info, as you can't tell the TBs from the QHs in most of the pics! http://www.circledhorses.com/some_great_horses.htmJen ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sky Ranch" <skyranch@xxxxxxxx> To: <ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, September 27, 2006 8:04 PM Subject: Re: [RC] [RC] QUARTER HORSE PEOPLE - HELP! The formula, the limit on TB blood, just does not wash with me. The early *true* foundation horses DID have TB blood, quite a bit, in fact, and also Arabian and other breeds. In fact, some of the QH foundation horses were 100% TB, registered TB. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
