Do you guys think it would be more beneficial to
have an updated supplement to my current guide come out before Christmas or
by convention? I'm planning on doing ride data only, plus maybe a little
something else. I'd like to re-do the reference section next time around. I seem
to be having a resurgence of sales right now ... maybe because it's getting
close to the end of the season and people are starting to plan next season. So
I'm waffling now on the "when" of things.
For those that purchased the first guide, a
discount would be available on the supplement. For those purchasing for the
first time, the first edition guide would be available at a minimal price to get
the reference sections and the ride stories, etc.
Also, calendar sales were great last year. Is there
any interest in my doing a new one? All my pictures or does anyone want to
contribute? If I get enough interest, I'll go ahead and do them again. Would be
nice to have photos from other regions, too. Submitters would get a copy and be
able to order volume at a discounted price. Files would have to be large enough
to print at 9x12, though so they'd have to be very good quality. Keep in mind
that I'm looking for scenic photos depicting a good representation of the
particular ride. Horse and rider passing through the scenery, even better as
long as it shows the scenery as the main focus of the photo.
