[RC] Easy Come Easy Go/Bonita Turkey Trot - cynthia hambergHi All: Riders and volunteers needed for the 3rd annual Bonita Turkey Trot (Sat., November 25th, 2006)! We have a 25-miler LD ride and a 50-miler which traverses BLM land. Ocean view from the mountains (on a clear day). We are a San Diego County ride: DIRECTIONS:From the I-15 South, take the I-805 South turnoff. Follow I-805 to the Bonita Rd./E St. exit. Turn left onto Bonita Rd. from the exit (gas and food are available on Bonita Rd.). Pass Central Ave. Continue straight on Bonita Rd. and onto San Miguel Rd. (this is where Bonita Rd. turns left over a bridge). You want to be on San Miguel Rd. at this point--which is straight ahead...Follow San Miguel Rd. to the Sweetwater Summit Park and turn left into the park. All of your overnight park service camping fees are already included in your ride entry fee. A few limited corrals are available on a first come, first serve basis.
