Re: [RC] [RC] recovering from head injury - Ravenwoozers!chris...have you checked to make sure you didn't injury your inner ears? sounds like vertigo. i have meniere's disease and man...when i get a bout of it..i'm down for the count. not sure if you knew this...but inside your ears, humans have little "rocks" floating and if they get disturbed...it causes dizziness. you may want to ask your doc about this...there is a procedure where your head is manipulated to try to get the "rocks" to settle back in place...works great!! also keep your salt intake low to avoid retaining water and keep your inner ear fluids down. speaking of being smacked around, back in '95, one of my boarder's house reared up, came after me with his front hooves, he struck the right side of my face, breaking the bones around my eye and also damaged my eye (vision). i couldn't go anywhere for months, cuz my face as a mess, and folks would give my hubby some really nasty looks and a few even made threatening remarks to him. <;\ anywho...i would try to take it easy...give your body more time to heal. sending you lots of healing light. raven =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
