Me too. I certainly understand the argument
about not wanting to pay fees to use "our" public lands. However, in
reality (!) if I have to pay a small use fee to keep land OPEN for hiking,
horseback riding, camping, etc., I'd rather do that, than have public lands
sold. And guess what, folks, that's what's happening, slowly but
surely.
I'd happily pay a fee to use an otherwise limited access trail system. We
can wear our license just like a hunter or fisherman. Might get the PA riders
back on game lands. I'd pay their license fee in a heartbeat and feel good
about
it.
