[RC] horse trailer accident - Dot WigginsVery traumatic event for all, and tragic for the horse and owner, when a horse falls out of a trailer on the freeway. Lucky only the horse was lost, not cars full of people. It is common for slant loads not to have a bar behind the last horse. When I bought my basic, no frills, two horse slant 12 years a go I paid extra to have one installed. Never been sorry. I can open the full width door any time and the horse stays put. Most straight loads have a butt bar or chain, but not every one uses them. Not good. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
