Typically a crupper will work on most horses, but in your horses case (b-4 the Specialized Saddle) it actually didn't, and that's fine; what's important is you tried what made sense. What I don't understand is a lot of riders out there think using a crupper is somehow not worth the time or trouble . . . That it's an unacceptable piece of equipment, not "normal." Why is that!? Frustrating. I definitely agree that the Specialized Saddle, when properly fit, is an excellent saddle for the horse. I'm not surprised it is working well for you.
