Re: [RC] So I ordered my new saddle finally! - Laney HumphreyPassier's Leder Balsam is good. I use Murphy's oil soap to clean my (Specialized) saddle, then the leder balsam or any of the other saddle treatments I've accumulated over the years. My Specialized has gotten soaked more than once and still looks great. I did really give it a full treatment before I rode it the first time.Laney Jessica Spoone-Raines wrote: I ordered a Specialized saddle a few days ago and just got to thinking, what does everybody recomend for cleaning and conditioning leather saddles? How often should I do it? I've ridden in a synthetic aussie for years and after spending this much on a saddle I want to make sure it lasts and lasts and lasts lol. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
