Re: [RC] [RC] BLM horse management - was horse slaughter - indiancpi agree that breeders as well as the backyard breeder are responsible. sure the well known breeder may not sell their's at slaughter prices but that does not keep them safe for life. many really good papered horses end up in the slaughter house down the line.people often ask why i don't breed my mares and i tell them there are too many in feed lots now...i don't need to be adding any more. patty in georgia who has two horses too many but is afraid of what might happen to them in the years to come so is keeping them. Man does not have the only memory, The animals remember, The earth remembers, The stones remember, If you know how to listen, they will tell you many things.
