You
know your mare is going to wait ‘til you nod off or leave her to relieve
yourself and when you return you’ll see an extra set of legs in the
stall.(:>)

Sooo.....
last night wasn't the night. :o(
About
2 am
mighty mare was laying down, having contractions, some
serious breath holding and noise making with the contractions, nothing showing
yet.
And
here come larry, moe, and currly, the sibling barn cats. They
seemed to think the whole thing was most interesting and that any horse laying down is asking to be climbed on and used for a game
of "king of the hill."The geldings get used for "king of the hill" quite a bit and
it is most amusing. And Mighty Mare usually loves them.Mighty Mare was not amused. She tried to munch one of the cats, who
narrowly escaped. By the time I collected and evected
the cats, the mare was back on her feet and had decided that the full moon was
not an auspisous time to have this baby. So we are
still fat and still waiting! April who isn't going to get any sleep tonight
either
