[RC] Wrapping up Steph's Namibian Adventure - John TeeterAm (just) getting around to posting a few more Namibian things for Steph. Got a message from her mid-day today. She's arrived in Cape Town, picked up at the airport by Charmaine Eksteen, who's name is the RM for the Saldanha ride. She briefly mentioned something about driving through wine country (and stopping to pick up the goods) and being in the care of a group of female endurance fanatics:) I can only imagine the schemes that are being put together this evening.... There will likely be on more round of images from Namibia. Steph has spent the last two days touring farms - seeing the horses and the lives. Soda straw net connections limit the image transmitions though - so will likely put together an other collection just on the Horses of Namibia later. For now: Waiting for the last finishers: http://www.endurance.net/international/2006Walvisbay/images/turtletime/ The Okahandja Reserve: http://www.endurance.net/international/2006walvisbay/images/okahandja/ Okapuka and New Friends: http://www.endurance.net/international/2006walvisbay/images/Okapuka/ The final presentations of Steph's Field Notes: http://www.endurance.net/international/2006Walvisbay/notes.html http://www.endurance.net/international/2006Walvisbay/notes2.html enjoy!
