Just want to let people know that this past weekend was the Colorado Horse
Park Challenge, held just south of Denver in the Parker area.  This ride has
been taken over By Tom and Cindy Lempe and they did a wonderful job of
putting on a well run ride.  The trails were well marked, there were water
tanks where they needed to be.  The 50 mile ride had three checks of legs
that were run at about equal distances.  The scenery was  good, the terrain
rolling hills with mostly good footing and a little deep sand at the end.
It had all the elements that were needed for a good event.  For people who
have not been to it, please support this ride.  For people who have been
before, know that the new management has made some very good positive
changes.  Even though all three checks were away from camp, the riders had
most of what they needed provided, hay, water, sponge buckets, rider water
etc.
Congratulations to Tom and Cindy in doing a good ride and putting much
thought and work into making it an event riders should support.
