My $ is on Dave Rabe.  Besides, I can't actually be in the contest
since it's one of my job duties at EasyCare now :).  Dave is doing
pretty well in the contest this year, he's done over a thousand
miles.  He figured that if I could do it, so could he, so he pulled
his horses shoes off and went to the next ride a week or two later and
did all three days on the same horse.  Not too bad (even if he is a
guy, lol)  Sue and Becky are both doing well in 3rd and 2nd and I
expect that we'll have some AERA (Australian) riders moving up in the
standings now that two of them just completed the 400 km Shahazda last
week using boots.  Here are the

The contest for next year is going to be a lot of fun.  There are a
couple of changes -- next year riders will get 50% credit for riding with
two boots on instead of four.  Several of the riders in the contest
use four boots on some rides, and two boots on other rides.  We are
also going to have a lot of contests and promotions for those who are in
the contest so they'll have lots of opportunities to win free boots, or
even ride entries. :)
