Re: [RC] [RC] mounting for the vertically challenged - Terry Banister"Bowing" to receive the rider is what our short friend has taught her tall horse to do. When the horse is down on one knee, she puts her foot in the stirrup, and as soon as the horse feels the weight, he begins to rise. In one flowing motion, the horse completes the rise while she settles into the saddle. Works great ~ until the horse gets "race brain" during competition and won't hold position long enough to get her foot in place. However, she is very good at riding side-saddle, or dangling on the side of the saddle at those times~Terry From: Elizabeth Chase <elizabethchase1@xxxxxxxxx> To: Dawn Carrie <rdcarrie@xxxxxxxxx> CC: ridecamp <ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: Re: [RC] mounting for the vertically challenged Date: Wed, 23 Aug 2006 11:50:00 -0700 (PDT) _________________________________________________________________ Windows Live Spaces is here!
