RE: [RC] Where do you stay during Tevis? - Alisanne Steele
Maggie,
I do not intend to try Tevis until 2010 or ‘11( as Taz will be at
least ten by then), however, I would LOVE to know a “barn & breakfast”
along the route, as I plan to Pre-Ride frequently over the next few seasons, and
a daily haul is not always convenient!
What a great idea! I think there is a real need for that sort of accommodation
along many of our favorite (more remote) riding and training locations.

Subject: [RC] Where do you stay during Tevis?
What's your perspective on existing accommodations (for humans AND
horses), and
why do
people stay where they do?
Also, do people come to Auburn to train for the Tevis? If so, where do
they
stay?
Thanks for the insight. My family is thinking about establishing a
"barn & bed"
Inn somewhere on The Western States Trail, that would include amenities
like
larger paddocks, reasonably priced hookups, and even a bunkhouse with a
common
room. Please let us know what you think about that!
