It's in "horsey language" with a french twist. certainly easy to navigate and 
find stuff - Nelson (1986 - 3 years of 50s - `10 years of 100s at the top level 
- and a horsey type could, i'm sure find the pedigree if they really wanted to. 
Look at the records of Persik's offsprings (and their offsprings) (i.e. the 
interesting info goes both ways in the pedigree. 

French should not really that much of a barrier. or maybe if that's the kind of 
barrier we let restrict our understanding of the blood-lines of interest then 
we're bound to come up short.
