[RC] Tevis Photo Proceeds - treedoc

Last weekend while shooting the Tevis Cup, I was really disappointed in seeing 
that the sign in Michigan Bluff at the top of El Dorado Canyon had been 
vandalized:

Fifteen years ago, when I went to AERC Convention for the first time, I was 
leafing through a photo album at the Western States Booth. In that album was a 
picture of a rider on the old Western States 50 as she passed that sign. That 
rider was Erin McChesney (now Erin Klentos), two time Tevis and Haggin Cup 
winner. This was one of the very first images I have of the Western States 
Trail.

I'm working with a couple of Board Members from the Robie Foundation to replace 
the sign. All proceeds of photo sales from my shots of last weekends Tevis will 
go towards replacing the sign.  If I raise more than what it takes to replace 
the sign, the excess funds will be donated for trail preservation.
