Re: [RC] Endurance News cover photos - Barbara McCraryThat makes a lot of sense. I have two granddaughters, ages nearly 14 and 15. They aren't oblivious to boys, but right now, riding endurance is taking a lot of their attention. The younger one did a 75 miler in July and a 50 miler on August 5. The older one did the 50 in August, as well. They are just so excited about riding in competition and are perfectly happy to be finishers. They are careful of their horses and are riding with either their dad or another sponsor. That way, they are getting acquainted with other adults and are enjoying getting to know them. When I get my new horse in shape for a 50, I would love to sponsor one of the girls. They seem to do better if they both don't ride with the same sponsor. The younger one has her sights set on Tevis next year.Barbara ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jannelle Wilde & Adam Falk" <mfarm@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, August 12, 2006 2:24 PM Subject: RE: [RC] Endurance News cover photos That's sure the truth.
