[RC] until we meet again, Kahlil Khai - Cindy Collins

So sorry for your loss, Joe.  He was truly one of the incredible horse
heroes of our sport.  I feel I have been allowed to ride three really
great horses (at least three who had the opportunity to prove their
greatness).  They were Smokey Killen's Bandit, Bumgardner's Sierra Fadwah,
and Joe Long's Kahlil.  As I've said before, Joe let me take Kahlil on a
conditioning ride (just Kahlil and I alone!) out of the Big Horn camp site
two days before they won the ride.  It is a cherished memory and an honor.
