Joe,

I am so sorry. I know you two were inseperable. I remember at a ride once
when I suggested we should check into getting one of our retired
endurance champions retired at Kentucky Horse Park along with champions
from other diciplines and I suggested Kahlil. You made it very clear that
there was no way you would have him live anywhere but with you.  I rode
with him some during his later years but missed most of his prime. I do
remember liking the fact that such a great champion could come in such a
small package.
