I would caution that a "very easy corse (sic), flat..." can often be the
course which will reveal the true nature of a horse's cardio-vascular
conditioning and true state of hoofcare, limb alignment, ability to recover,
tack fit and so forth.
As with mechanical conveyances, a string of "green lights" over enough (so
called) "easy" distance and one will find the tank needing filled more
frequently and at some cost to the "vehicle".
