It's all about instant gratification without having to work hard for something. Those who do work hard and are rewarded should be. It's those people that don't have the drive and determination, or talent that throw a huge a fit and tantrum, very similar to my child when she doesn't get something her way. It's really embarassing if you ask me. Basically, if a person isn't willing to work hard to be a champion, they aren't a champion and shouldn't have awards made for them just to make them feel good. Those people are not champions.
