I always thought it would be interesting to use the
percentage of weight carried instead of the rider's weight. I am a
featherweight, but have often ridden very small horses- therefore, it may be
similar to an average lightweight or middleweight rider. We can't get so
technical that we no longer enjoy the sport though ! Just shut up and ride, I
guess !!
