I don't object to the various division and mileage awards but I would truly 
like to see the AERC recognize the ONE horse and rider team that has 
performed the best over the course of the year, using the point system in 
place.  After all, the Emmys and the Oscars give out a bunch of awards for 
different "weights".  But there is only ONE Best Picture.
