If you're fat and happy, you'll do whatever the "man" tells you to do, to keep that feed coming in! It's easier. If you're wild and free --and not yet starving -- you'll want to fight. I think it applies to all animals, certainly horses, and thus, it applies to us. The key is -- if you're starving, you'll be much more compliant. That's how domestication started, don't you think? Guess I'm still a rogue mare, at heart. And not starving, yet.
