When you put it in the bucket, only put enough water in to cover the hay
(loose, cubes, or pellets). Then sprinkle on some salt (which is good for
them anyway) and some powdered drink mix (kool-aid or whatever is cheapest
that your horse likes). It only takes a little bit of doctoring to make a
yummy hay soup.
