Re: [RC] Drag Riders - patty peckThe only 100 I have done was a mountain type ride and my group found ourselves out on the 2nd to last loop in the woods with no glow sticks and it was DARK. RM thought everyone would be off the mountain before dark and glow sticked the last loop only. Well to make a long story shorter. Our group came up on a "white cow" in the woods. Turned out to be a rider that had lost his flashlight, untacked his horse, tied it to a tree and curled up for the night with a saddle blanket. We convinced him that we could finish and he should come with us, (we had lights). He did and we finished at 0515. It was daylight and the birds were singing and we had 15 minutes to spare. I do not see anything wrong with this experience. I never questioned that there should have been glow sticks up there. I never questioned that there should be a drag rider or that someone that couldn't see shouldn't spend the night in the woods. RM put on a first class ride. Overall it was a wonderful experience. Stop blaming RM. Patty
