Re: [RC] To Ramy Jisha and BG 100 - Jody Rogers-ButtramOk, I didn't some thinking. First off, I started in 1979. That's when we didn't have many rides a year to go to. I can remember only three horses that died......up to about 1988 in the SE region. I am sure I am missing some. And sure someone will correct me about it. To me, that doesn't seem like a lot considering we didn't know half of what we do now, didn't have a fraction of the tools(feed, supplements, elytes, etc.) that we do now, and the vets didn't have the knowledge of stressed horses like they do now. All this comes from a sport that has matured, suffered some growing pains, but *should* have easy access to material to learn before doing. Heck, with the mentoring that is out there, no one should be riding "blind". As long as they TRY to educate theirselves. rides2far@xxxxxxxx wrote: > I attended my first Endurance ride somewhere around '90-92'.not sure
