I didn't see the maps in question, but most ride maps aren't all that useful and some rides don't have maps at all. The Big Horn is almost the only ride I know of that will send you detailed maps with GPS waypoints in advance of the ride if you request them (I loaded the waypoints into my GPS in case I needed them last year -- I didn't). We are reacting to what is being said by people who were there. That's what Ridecamp is for. Information about the deaths of the horses needs to go to the Welfare of the Horse Committee, not Ridecamp unless you want even more Trial by Media. However, it is important to distinguish between Trial by Media and open discussion and sharing of opinion.
