[RC] sand colic - winsumjoI changed from people psyllium to Equi-aid psyllium( any horse psyolium) on the recomendation from my vet. Apparently the concentration is higher in the horse psylliuim. I had been giving my horses the people stuff and my old horse age 28 developed diarrhea. The vet did a rectal and said she could feel sand in the colon. We also did the manure in water and could see some sand. I also do the first 7 days of each month.
