Most easy 100s have loops back into camp and repeat loops...the terrain is often boring. The traditional 100s are NEVER boring. You are so focused on the terrain, the beauty, the new challenges, etc. that the time flies by. <<< OK, I have a one ride study...Tevis, but I really have NO desire to do the 100's that loop into camp time and time again. I loved the feeling on Tevis that I was riding TO some place, not just a finish line. I was following a historical route. When I crossed the top of the mountain, I looked West, and knew my goal was out there somewhere. I did remain very focused on the trail and my surroundings, and when I finally crossed that finish line some 23 1/2 hours later, it really did not feel like I have been riding all day..and night. LOL I was never, ever bored. Jonni =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
