RE: [RC] [RC] cooling vests - Karen Green$0.02 from a newbie/hope-to-be... I've been wearing a Cool Medics cool vest for the last week. My time to ride can be erratic... Being in business for myself I go and work when clients need, and I can't afford to turn down business to grab cool AM hours every day. I am IMPRESSED and much more comfortable wearing the vest. I don't handle too much heat too well, though I'm in DRY heat. But my first ride wearing it was a 100 degree afternoon, and my trainer worked both my and my sweet boy's Polish buns off (yes we both are!). The high collar is neat - a definite help IMO. Bought from Horses Dacor (www.horsesdacor.com) - Julia was super helpful, emailed to tell me the color I wanted wasn't available but let me know what she could ship ASAP. That was so appreciated! I'm sold... Especially with temps of 114 predicted for Paso Robles this weekend, when I will grab early AM cooler temps. Anybody tried one? Lynne =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
