ohhhh, that really hurts. i hurt my tailbone in
October and can still feel it. that is what everyone who knew i was hurt
said..."it takes a long time to heal".
after my ankle heeled and i was back in the saddle, my
tailbone didn't hurt while riding. only hurts when i sit down and get
up. i stand up a lot! i think you should get checked out(xray), tho
not much anyone can do for you.
My
methods were: Ice, Ice, Ice - or it worked for me and I used a
donut when not riding.
In addition, my tailbone was bent (did you
get checked to see if your's was) I had it straighted, no surgery,
sorta like having the r----- exam, not fun but sure
helped.
Also wore a sport panty girdle, that seemed to help
support it by keeping things in place and helping to pad
it.
Hope there are some better ideas out there
though

Subject: [RC] bruised tailbone
I recently bruised my tailbone and was wondering what sorts
of various options other people have done in order to keep riding....?
Riding with a donut is TOTALLY out of the options!!! ;)
