Re: [RC] TB racing - steelsidedown

This is exactly what I'm seeing -- shoeing on the track instead of riding though -- albeit a small track, these horses are picked up by bigger barns quite often ....Care/Feed/Conditioning is adequate, but certainly not what my horses are used to ....

I rode at the TB track for 8 years...New York...Kentucky...Florida and then California...The babies were taken to a farm for breaking before they came to the track...most were getting broke in Aug before their 2 year old year..(yearlings) and if they were born late....after Jan....they were really young....they were galloping about a mile by the time they came to the track...never really pushed to go very fast....but always rode in sets with other young horses...boy those were the days....hahahahaha..riding 2 yr. old stallions all morning....what fun....
