[RC] Bungee cords - Jonni

I would never use a bungee cord to hold anything that could be put under load....such as a door with the wind blowing against it. it is not IF, but WHEN that bungee cord gives way, breaks, and sends parts flying...usually into the face of a person or horse. I have a nylon motor cycle tie, not the ratchet type, but the kind you pull the end tight, and then push down to release that I have used to hold open a door. But never a bungee.  I also never, ever use the bungee ties that folks think are designed to tie horses. I've seen them break when a horse pulled back, and sent a snap flying through the air like a missile.
