A chiropracter showed me the little indentation behind their ear and said pressure there would release endorphins. I've never tried it since I always figure my horse's pulse is up because his temperature is up, because he's pumping blood to the surface to cool it. I'd rather have a sponge in both hands helping him get cooled off. Keep thinking I'll try it when the farrier's here but I forget to.
