Re: [RC] Need thermographic images of your horse for saddle fit? - Laney Humphrey

From my experience as a saddle fitter, assessing saddle fit is a process that should be done slowly, carefully, without a lot of distractions, and with plenty of time free from other pressures.  In other words, thermographic imaging may be a good tool for assessing saddle fit, but an endurance ride is not the correct venue for it.  At best the rider would find out that the saddle doesn't fit and that puts them in a terrible position: ride anyway knowing the saddle may be hurting the horse, or forfeit the ride & all the time, energy & $ that went into getting there.  Not good!

Subject: [RC] Need thermographic images of your horse for saddle fit?

I was wondering how much of a demand there would be for thermographic images at a ride.  Especially for saddle fit.  If there was someone doing images at a ride, how many of you would be interested?
