Re: [RC] [RC] question for those riding in leather saddles - M Paul latiolaisI'm with Truman on this one. I am looking at my once new Synergist in the middle of its third season, scuffs and scratches all over it . It lost its "newness" before the first ride. With all the rain around here, I never thought to worry about the sponge! After a Winter of conditioning rides in a constant drizzle on a saddle that was delivered in January, wet sponges were not an issue.-Paul On Jul 6, 2006, at 8:23 AM, Truman Prevatt wrote: Or Angie tells you about this great pond with a firm bottom - no deeper than the horses knees. You believe her, go in to sponge since it's about a 100 by that point, you horse steps into a big hole in the pond and your are swimming out with a soaked saddle. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
