Have you thought of a mini spreader? You can pull it behind a riding
lawn mower...I have one client who uses one, and we can mow and spread at the
same time, and you hardly notice where the manure has been spread. You can
spread in an out-of-the-way spot, and one horse isn't going to produce a
horrendous amount. I feel it's much better than piling it...doesn't
attract flies, doesn't smell, and it won't spoil the view! Mill Creek
makes them in several different sizes.
