IMHO Good point. I'd certainly rather stand on a nice, flat rubber mat than on a pile of wood shavings for hours on the road. As far as the heat, while you are moving there is a strong airflow underneath the trailer which will prevent the hot road surface from heating the trailer floor very much. Stopped might be more of a problem. But then, by insulating the top of the floor, shavings could make the floor itself even more hot. YMMV, but I think I'll stick with rubber mats, no shavings. -- Joe Long jlong@xxxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.chiprider.com =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
