Re: [RC] [RC] Run-in Sheds - Debbie KirchnerPaddock Paradise & Mustang Mountain http://wildhooves.wordpress.com/ Check this out, there are some interesting ideas my heard lives in MN.. it gets to 30 below here... yikes, they have a long tube like run in shed.. make sure you can plug in the water to keep it from freezing... so think carefully about where you will locate it... also open the shed away from the winter winds, we have ours open on our south and East sides, the winds come from the North and West here.. ours is 20 wide by 30 long, is attached to the south side of our pole shed, they have access to the front south corner of the shed, and all of the hoop building... what I love is that in the summer the different color of the hoop and pole shed somehow keeps the air moving even on a still day... the heat of the sun, warms it, the silver of the hoop must cool it... amazing simple air conditioning for the horses... I also like it that they can RUN THROUGH and OUT the other end... no body gets stuck in it If they get kicked out one end, the sneak in the other end.. ha ha.. congrats on your move!!!! Debbie in SE MN The Eagle shows the way....
