RE: [RC] [RC] Trailer bedding (shavings)-was Standing wraps - Mel CochranThis probably sounds silly, but I do not use shavings in my trailer because I am afraid that particles from them could fly up in my horse's eyes with all of the air circulating through the trailer. I also worry that they could be slippery?Am I being overly paranoid? Would my horses benefit from having some shavings over the mats in my trailer? I have porous mats so liquids go through to the floor and drain out rather than sitting on top of the mats and making them slippery. It does make for a lot of work when I get home, take the mats out, rinse them and the trailer floor and then put everything back in.
