[RC] Leg protection while traveling, pre- and post-ride - Jonni

Not everyone feels the need to do something with our horses legs after a ride. Depends on the horse. On most rides, I do little except maybe run some water on the legs a bit after the ride. I like to see if there is any swelling or heat that comes up, so I can decide if we have the start of a problem, or to tell me the horse was not ready for the level of stress he just did. I have met many who wrap because they feel they should, but they do not have a really solid reason why they do so. But it makes them feel better........

BUT, if you wrap, KNOW HOW TO DO SO CORRECTLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Bad wraps can do so much more damage than no wraps. I was also taught to never wrap with standing wraps without the quilts.
