I pulled into one of the checks and Hugh said, "pretty little mare, you let her run a bit?- it'd would be a shame if you didn't" with a smile. I smiled right back and said heck yeah!, and off we went. His smile and comment put a happy face on me all day. I'll always remember that when I get to gallop at a ride. I'm sorry to hear of his passing, he and Dr. Beasom were at so many of our PS rides.Happy trails Hugh, you'll be missed! Tiffany-who still lets that pretty little mare run a bit.
