[RC] hay nutrition - sherman

I’m hunting for my year’s supply of hay. I’ve found rye grass, beardless wheat, and an oat/beardless wheat combo. Which is the most nutritious for horses? They generally get about 3# of alfalfa, plus their beet pulp & a cup of oats (3 C on ride days) and all the hay they want…well, except for my 2 little piggies that have to be limited in their hay otherwise they’d be too fat to ride.

Thanks,

Kathy
